Lister Families,

Summer Break Activities: If you’re looking for some summer activities for your child, check out Tacoma Learns, an online directory of youth programs throughout Tacoma and Pierce County. Use the directory to find programs by grade level, cost, interest and location.

Check it out!

Salishan Event: Salishan is hosting a Caregiver Card Making evening on May 5th, from 4:00-5:00 PM. Come and make cards for the special caregivers in your life. It is at the Family Investment Center (FIC).

State Testing: We are getting ready to take the big state test you have put on hold the last two springs due to COVID known as the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA). Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be participating this year. We will begin testing of May 16th. We are in need of nutritious snacks and water bottles for students. If you are willing to donate and send snacks we can start accepting them at any time from now through the end of May. Water bottles, granola bars, any individually wrapped crackers, string cheese, cutie oranges, etc. You can drop them off in the main office. We appreciate your help if you are able!

Brown Bear Car Wash Tickets: Lister is selling Brown Bear Car Wash Tickets for an ASB fund raiser! The tickets are $10 each and they can be redeemed at any location throughout Washington state. There is no expiration date. You can come to the office and pay cash, credit or check or you can purchase through the Family App and My School Bucks and then pick up in our main office.

Have a great day Lister Lions.
