December days off
There's no school for students Monday, Dec. 23, through Friday, Jan. 3, for winter break.  

School district offices are closed Dec. 24, 25 and 31, and Jan. 1.

School resumes on Monday, Jan. 6.

Basketball night with University of Puget Sound Loggers
Tacoma Public Schools families and students are invited to watch a free night of University of Puget Sound basketball in the new year. 

Watch two games and join UPS staff to learn more about the university's Tacoma Public Schools Commitment - a financial aid package that meets the full demonstrated financial need of TPS graduates.

• Where: University of Puget Sound Memorial Field House, 1500 N. Warner St., Tacoma
• When: Men's game at 6 p.m.; women's game at 8 p.m. Refreshments and college information session at 7:30 p.m.

Students under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
